Birdcage Table
Designed by Chango & Co.; Photographs by Glen McDowell and John Merkl
There's a little bit of magic in the birdcage table. For one, it's a lot bigger than it looks. While the angled support slats give the table the illusion of a light, airy piece, it's actually big enough to seat four. Not that you'll pay much attention to its size, of course; like a good magician, that mesmerizing end grain pattern on the tabletop commands your attention. You'll have a hard time looking at anything else.
